Quest to Reinvest – Heirloom Harvest Barn Dinner
Dear Michael,
With the year drawing to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support of Seacoast Eat Local. It was an honor to be included as a beneficiary of Quest to Reinvest’s inauguration, and we appreciate all that you’re doing for the larger community.
Through Quest to Reinvest, the Heirloom Harvest Barn Dinner was able to continue its success and raise over $3,000, money that will go towards strengthening our local food community through education and outreach such as this event. Photographs of this special event may be found through this post :

Also, here’s a link about coverage of the event by NH Chronicle:

Special thanks to Nicole, who with considerable grace and patience, steered us through the planning stages. It was a pleasure working with Exeter Events
and wish you all the best with next year’s Quest!
Sincerely,
Debra Kam

Quest to Re-invest gains popularity and buzz throughout the state
We were contacted the other day by John S. Gianforte for the University of New Hampshire to help with an event at the Observatory. He has heard about “Quest to Re-invest as it gains popularity and buzz throughout the state. We will be helping John in any way we can. We did not know there was such a thing going on at UNH and that it is open to the public and wanted our readers to know about this opportunity for a different night out opportunity. John explains the event and goings on at the observatory much better than we could so I have included his letter to us which explains in detail the Universities efforts. John writes: Read the rest of this entry »
Showcase: Quest to Re-Invest winners’ Events
This week we showcase two more “Quest to Re-Invest” winners. The first winner Fallfest was held last week on the 8th to celebrate the preserving of Dimond Hill Farm for future generations. The second and one of my favorite things to do, eat great food, is on the agenda for this weekend. The Heirloom Harvest Barn Dinner in Stratham is a must do event if you enjoy great local food in different environment. Check it out if you have the date open and we may see you there! Timberland’s Serv-a-palooza turns 13
Our next “Quest to Re-invest” event is on we have helped to produce for the last five years. This year Timberland is combining this event with the announcement of their Sale to VF Corp for over two billion. The presentation will be held on the grounds of Timberland Wednesday evening with a cocktail reception for 700 and then a dinner to immediately following. Exeter Events and Tent will keep all the guests dry tonight under our beautiful 40’x104’, 32’x 50” Sail cloth tents and our 80’x 100’ Anchor Century vinyl tent. Both events will use over thirty tents of all sizes and at many locations. The size and multiple locations make this event one of our specialties, showcasing what we excel at every day! We though we would include an article on this event featured on Seacoastonline.com. It gives you a little more information about this years locations incase anyone wants to lend a hand. They are always looking for help.

Starting in 2009, Big Brothers Big Sisters reformatted its annual gala at the Wentworth Hotel to a series of “soirees” at private residences around the Seacoast. In 2010, Big Brothers Big Sisters hosted three Little Soirees on differing nights in New Castle, Newington and then Rye. Each soiree celebrates the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters with a custom theme while guests enjoy cocktails, fine food, live music and auctions. Exeter Events and Tents continue its “Quest to Re-invest” mission by gifting the use of tents for each of these three events. These events are open to the public giving our readers a chance to attend these great Themed events while helping the Seacoast chapter of Big Brothers and Big Sisters fulfill their mission. Depending on the event there are live bands tasty for supplied by local restaurants or caterers and just an overall great opportunity to meet like minded people in the local community. All monies raise go directly to the local chapter to help mentor a deserving child. You can follow the supplied links to register for the event theme of your choice. We will be attending all three.
Manchester Greek Festival Kicks off this Saturday
We would like to tell you about an event this weekend being run by another Quest to Reinvest contest winner. Greekfest 2011 will be our second Greek festival that Exeter Events and Tents have supplied tents tables and chairs for this summer. The last festival was held in Portsmouth and if you were unable to attend because you live in the route 93 corridor here is your chance to attend a large Greek festival in Manchester, NH. These are my favorite festivals you cannot beat the entertainment, the homemade Greek pastries and fine food. Did I mention the homemade pastries? So come out and enjoy the two day event which begins this Saturday and runs through Sunday. The weather is going to be spectacular and fun will be had by all so see you there you will be able to find me eating the homemade Greek pastries
